If they ever become allies I will stop reading comics until all of Marvel's current staff is gone, that's the most ridiculous thing I've read all week, and reading your daily paper is filled with ridiculous things

What a cliffhanger. Cruel to string you along to the next issue like that.

I wish that they would just bring him back as a Sinister clone instead of some other terrible idea that the current X-Men creative team will cook up. The whole "death by magic sword" thing was a slap in the face to begin with, so the least they could do is just keep him with his Sinister and Marauder roots instead of him crawling back from the pits of hell or some other nonsense.

The thought of Sabretooth and Wolverine teaming up and becoming best buddies makes me cringe with angst - and enough with the flippin' family ties and ever-growing family trees. Its bad enough the Origins series turned them both into evlolved cats.

But making him a clone takes a lot a way from the character IMO. Although I would love it to be revealed that a lot of Victor's more recent run ins with Logan were a clone and that the real Sabretooth has just be laying low and biding his time.

However they bring him back though he needs a major build up into a credible threat again. He was made into such a joke by the time of his death. He functions best when he's a sadistic animal getting off on tormenting someone. And while he eventually has to lose at least build it up. He became such a punching bag that he lost what made him so special.

i think he should be part of a new Masters of Evil. if Logan can branch out, why not Victor? but it shouldn't be a massive team so Creed seems more important.

After seeing Gunless, I've been convinced that Tyler Mane could have pulled off the role if Sabertooth had been written better instead of a last minute addition to the script.

His character in that was well acted indeed.

This is a fantastic idea. Especially when the ME tangle with the Avengers now that Wolverine is a member.

    yeah

sabes is kinda a team player, with great experience and military training.

he's a great tracker and very good at black ops.

put him and mystique on the next "masters of evil" and the avengers are going to be putting out bush fires across the globe while the rest get organized.

Not sure that Sabes works best as a complete psycho, some of his best stories have been wheh he was trying and failing to fight against his nature, for example; in the X-Men, X-Force issues when he is a prisoner in the mansion and in the Mary Shelly Overdriver series. He also works well as an assassin who enjoys killing rather than a torturing psycho.

Sabretooth needs to be written better. Some writer just don't know how to write him. If written correctly, he could possibly support a good 12 issue mini. They need to go deep into his psyche. They have tried in the past, but nothing has really stuck yet.

I know I want him to stop being a gun for hire so to speak and become a master planner.

    yeah

for all the faults of identity disc, I loved how sabertooth was pulling strings behind the scene.

he just should have realized to have juggernaut go first :p.
