The first few covers of the series were by Lisner, the latters were by Mayhew, who's currently giving us the eye-popping visuals in the X-Men: Origins series.

And Mayhew's Mystique certainly made my eyeballs snap, crackle, AND pop. Guy has skills.

First time I saw Meyhew, I almost though they were photo manipulations. I could have not been more wrong they are actually fully painted (I believe he uses acrylics) the old fashion way and really amazing.

I want Mystique leading a new new Brotherhood of Mutants with Shortpack, Pulse, Bling!, Peepers and Onyxx.

i think she should operate an even larger "terror cell" and have a number of captains who answer to her. that way they could have a Sisterhood of Evil Mutants, a Brotherhood, and underlings (like Pulse) who do other stuff for Raven.
