Well, this seemed more like an Initative article than an X-Books article. Heh.
Shame I didn't send my question in time. If you're lurking, Mr. Gage, any chance we'll get to see you working on other X-Men projects down the road? Any mini-series or one-shots?
Interesting interview, I am interesting to find out who mutant 0 is, it is also good to hear the possibility exists of another mini HoM mini. I think there is at least one more 5 issue mini left that could be easily squeezed out of the HoM and that is the trials and tribulations of the royal family ruling the world. It would be more personal as we would find out about things like were Wanda's children came from and its pretty obvious this series will end with them taking over the world, but figuring out how to rule the world would be if anything a more difficult battle.
I'm just glad Butterball might be back. I loved that kid.
The first issue of Spiderman/Xmen didn't grab me but the second one might be interesting.
Gage is awesome, I love his stuff! Stormwatch PHD and Avengers Initiative being my faves...
I lost interest in any X-Men crossover mini's for years now, but had to try out issue #1 of X-Men/Spidey when I saw Gage's name on the cover. Glad I did, it had several LOL moments for me (being an old skool reader). Definitely picking up the rest of the mini...
I liked XM/SM#1, though the O5 was ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ as usual. I'll probably trade wait it.
The WWH X-Men mini was kinda crap though.
X-Men/Spider-Man #1 Sells Out!
Marvel is pleased to announce X-MEN/SPIDER-MAN #1 has quickly sold out at Diamond, although copies may still be available at the retailer level! Christos N. Gage and Mario Alberti's take on the early days of the Marvel Age in X-MEN/SPIDER-MAN #1 has fans clamoring for more team-ups between Spidey and the Uncanny X-Men.
The first part of a four-issue series, X-MEN/SPIDER-MAN #1 revealed a never before seen early meeting between the original class of X-Men and Spidey with a shocking last page which by the end of this series will have deadly consequences for the current day Marvel Universe.
The reviews are in and the critics are raving about this exciting new series!
Comicsbulletin.com described Mario Alberi's art as "an impressive debut for the artist who marries his European style to the decidedly American subject matter very effectively."
Comicbookresources.com said "there's plenty for comic fans to enjoy…it's tempting to say that the series is going to be worth it for the art alone, but to do so is a disservice to Gage's well-considered story."

It's funny but I found that article more interesting as an Initiative article than anything X. The Initiative is one of my very favorite books and getting some insight into whats coming next is awesome.
I loved Spidey/X #1 quite a bit, and I can't wait to see what comes next...
The mini still retroactively inserts bits of continuity. The events will definitely have implications for the present, but not in a “retcon” kind of way, like revealing that Uncle Ben was really Wolverine’s brother or anything like that.
Hence, still retcons. But probably not bad ones.

Spider-man's interactions with the X-men have always interested me. Even more so than any other team-ups or whathaveyou. Especially the 05. But not just them, other X-men too. It's just always fun. Outcasts taking in "the outcast."
Biru-no tanima-no kurayami-ni, Supaida-man!
Havok was right.
