That's quite a bizarre and slightly dissapointing mix of characters...I didn't think it'd be limited to a specific group in limbo. It's also a little strange that Mercury is included when she's not in a team and wasn't part of the group of kids with Illyana last time in limbo. As much as I love Cess, Vic would have made more sense to be there with Pixie and Rockslide after their experience there together.

Cess was there and she was practically the only person given Belasco a hard time, because she was semi resistant to his magic innately. What im worried about is the fact that Colossus is also there.. I dread any moment seeing Solid Metal Man and my Liquid Metal Love, in the same book, it feels me with a quiet disappear that Metal Head's love for underage girls will have him trying to make moves on Cessily, and while Cessily has more common sense than Kitty did at her age, I can't help but fear that the Teacher and Student forbidden love bug may bite. Heck I'd even hate to see them working together on the same panel.
Then there is the fact that Wolverine is also there, sigh.. 3 metal people.. Well gee I guess which one of them will get left behind if anyone at all.:rolleyes:

Well, at least if Cessily gets left behind we can be assured that no retarted demons can beat her. Right? ... Right?

Well Colossus is obviously going to be invovled, he's Illyana's brother. Nightcrawler has the Soul Sword, and Illyana stole part of Pixie's soul - so those two make sense.

Wolverine will help sell the book....and arguably he's one of the first people Colossus woudl ask to come with (assuming they go by choice). Santo and Cess both have a level of Limbo protection (assuming Santo rebuilds himself out of Limbo rock again). Cebulski also likes Cessily and is writing her in Manifest Destiny, plus there's the bonus that she's out of use right now. And I'm pretty sure he's among the many writers who find Santo fun to write, I think he said that in an interview.

Beyond that, I'm sure Cebulski didn't want to bring too many X-Men. Hopefully the story will give a decent in-story reason for the lineup.

do they mean it like: dead, trapped, staying for uncertain period of time, inprissond or just gone for ever.

and i say the x-men should take good care of there students( not leave them behind)

or perhaps collosus gets to spend some quality time with his younger sister

I'd have to double check the solicit but it didn't say 'someone won't return' but 'will all of them return?' (very much paraphrasing here) so it didn't say one of them definitely won't be back.

Nice! Great to hear (and see!) about Mercury. Even if she doesnt make it back, I'm just happy she's being used. And if she doesnt come back, surely that means she'll have been used quite a bit in the actual story, right? Cus they want people to care, and no one will care if the "extra" who didnt say or do anything for the whole story was left behind. It wouldnt make for much of an impact.

I was looking over AA's comment again, and he definitely doesnt say that some people won't make it back.

AA: Sure thing, Bklnas86, the X-Men who go to Limbo are Colossus, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Pixie, Rockslide and Mercury. The ones who come back from Limbo? You'll have to read and see.

He says that those 6, GO to Limbo, but that group of 6 isn't the group that comes back. It could mean that more people come back. So it might just mean that Illyana returns with everyone.
