    That was a great article.

The "somebody large" that Kelly speaks of in his next big story I bet is Norman Osborn, Director of Shield. Spidey has to battle Shield and the Mighty Avengers to get to him.

The design defects that were part of his downfall in this story won't be there next time.

Well if it does tie in to Dark Reign, then Spidey may have to get in line to get a shot at Norman this time.

    Default New girl

Let's just hope JoeQ doesn't decide his life was sooooooo much more interesting when he was alone in his apartment or this new girl will be tossed out as well.

I doubt Peter will wind up stuck in another relationship for twenty years straight so I don't think any fans of Norah have too much worry about in that regard unless they expect her to be surgically attached to Peter's hip/lips forever.

I vote we get a new title called Spectacular Spider-Man, and we get the regular creative team of Joe Kelly and Chris Bachalo.

I wonder if every new Spider-man writer is asked to come up with new characters. If true, then it's certainly a good idea. Spidey's cast has been culled along the years. Now that MJ's hold on Peter has been broken, his social circle can be increased.

Hmm. That would be good. I'm still hoping Flash rejoins the cast.
I much prefer new additions to the supporting cast over Peter hanging out in Avengers Tower with his wife and Aunt. His Supporting cast got whittled down to two people, and his team up buddies. Shameful.

We'll see if Stern and Waid come up with new characters.
I believe Stern was the last writer to create a nuch of new characters when he created the post-graduate class.
(Actually Mackie introduced Peter's co-workers but never used them beyond that)

Joe Kelly has improved the standard of Spider-Man comics post OMD. Heck, it would be better if he became the sole writer of the whole series......

I could understand JMS's desire to focus more on Peter Parker, after Mackie had neglected to do that himself. While the supporting cast is important, they should never overshadow the main characters.
