Default Ron how do you feel about the election?

Four years ago now I remember discussing the Kerry versus Bush election with you on another forum and was wondering what your thoughts were four years later.

We got this one right. :)

I don't want to get too much onto my soapbox here, but when the election was finally declared for Obama -- or really, when Ohio went his way -- I just felt a huge sense of relief, as well as elation. I really do think it's a watershed moment in the country's history.

It'll be nice to have a smart, thoughtful guy in the White House, especially after the last 8 years. So, thank you, George W. Bush, for screwing up everything so badly that the country was ready to truly embrace change. I really believe that if things weren't in such dire shape, Obama wouldn't have been elected. Of course, now there's a pretty huge roster of serious problems for him to tackle. But I finally feel like we have a chance of fixing those problems, rather than just seeing them exacerbated.

    I just had to reply.

I think that every black person who got to be the first to do anything has always felt like they had the world on their back. This time, he really does, but I believe he's up to it. I don't think he's a messiah, or that everything will be perfect, but I expect good things in the long run.

We are obviously in a very bad place, I honestly hope that Obama is the guy for the job. Trust me, McCain wasn't even a consideration in my mind, but I'm still on the edge about if Obama is the guy to make things happen. Some say it's a socialist experiment, I'm curious as to what you think..

    Hey guys,

I feel that I am too late here, now Obama won,

I heard that he had introduced so many good things for the un-emplyoed in US, he is going to implement TAX FREE for the people who is NOT doing outsourcing, that is a great news for all of us, Isn't it?

    Cheers,
