Damn, and I was really looking forward to seeing Peter beat the living crap out of Darkseid.

wtf? Season 3 has been hands-down the best that Heroes has offered thus far.
Ouch!
Too bad for these guys.
But Loeb's got other things to handle, anyways.
You just have to be cool about it...
The way I look at it the original writers from Smallville left and Season 8 has became one of the best seasons of Smallville thanks to the new writers direction.
So it is up in the air on if Heroes would be better under the direction of the replacements of Loeb and Alexander or would the show end up being horrible. Talk about a bad time though as Heroes was getting interesting in the later episodes this season under Loeb and Alexander

Like most of what Jeph Loeb writes, season three of Heroes has been nonsensical and god awful. Marvel would be smart to do as NBC has done. And as quickly as possible.
Now I must be fair and point out that I'm not just a Loeb basher.
Long Halloween is great, and I was thinking of the wrong incident where Darkseid lost to Superman. Loeb did have that happen in Superman/Batman, but I was thinking of an atrocious comic that was right after the Our Worlds At War story.

Loeb is OFF something?
Volume Three's had better episodes than Volume Two, but this show is still treading water in it's current direction and repeating the same s*it again and again, the mini-seasons within seasons don't take full advantage of esclating plot threads and everyone STILL takes up to seven episodes to act let alone go anywhere. The series needs fresh blood, and this is a wise and welcome decision. Kring can steer a good ship, he just needs a more motivated crew.

maybe heroes won't be such a mess with loeb gone.
i don't know who that other guy is.
Get your heads out of your asses guys,
so many people are involved with a show like this.
You can't blame loeb or alexander.
Loeb's writing resume is WICKED.
Just look at his gigs.
Anyway, blame nbc execs for messing with a good thing...
After what he did to the ULTIMATES, I wonder if the same thing happened with Heroes, although Season 3 is the closest thing to season 1
I am far beyond mutants as mutants are beyond you - Apocalypse
And lose the writer that made the second best-selling title of September? Which title was not a crossover, a number one issue or any such sales booster. Which means the title sold on pure entertainment value.
Heroes ratings are down but Loeb ratings at Marvel are way up. If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you don't like it and don't buy it, too bad for you because your opinion is dwarfed by those who like it.
