It looks like there are at least three different comics versions of this, one of which is in Gaelic only:

As a follow-up to that last post, I just spent a while reading Paddy Brown's Ulster Cycle comics at http://paddybrown.co.uk/, one of which is an adaptation of The Cattle Raid of Cooley. I was really impressed. His artwork is very strong and the comic reminds me of an Irish-mythological version of Age of Bronze.

Thanks for the plug, Sir Tim - Age of Bronze is definitely an influence.
As for Finn, I've just ordered Leeann Hamilton's Finn & Fish, which looks very pretty.
I just found out about Nobrow Press at Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Fest.

Their new Graphic Cosmogony book is mind expanding to behold and their Nobrow Magazine anthologies/art books utterly suck you in. Very exciting work.
Wow. Cool thread. All this info is helping me widen my comic scope.
Pierrick you've made a fan out of me!
I'm in the middle of writing an article about the differences between american Comics and European Comics, and would love everyone's input on the topic.
No, I don't mean who do you think is better or who sucks more.
I mean those little tidbits of uniqueness that make you prefer one over the other, or those things that you love of both equally, even they may be so different.
All comments are welcome!

Well, recently I just posted this blog entry about Differences between European Comics and American comics.

I'm particularly enjoying Bernet and Abuli's Torpedo series, because it is being published in its entirety by IDW, and it is given the luxurious treatment it deserves, but man! are we out of the loop here in the states regarding what is being published abroad!!!

I had an acquaintance at the comic shop offer to sell me the four English issues of Roxanna and the Quest of the Time Bird for $80. They're in pretty good condition, but really have no context if it was a fair price.
Hey this is a thread i made for European comics, classic and modern greats. Not to post your artwork like its your own works thread.
For example i just read my first Torpedo volume by Bernet and Abuli.
