That'd be Strange Adventures No. 4, here on the GCD.

'Lee Elias and Bernard Baily contributed to this series' nailed it to one of DC's anthologies. Eliminating those which were not cancelled in the 'seventies left me searching through House of Secrets and then this. Bingo!

Well, according to my watch everyone has had more than enough time to solve this.

I think it is a Three Stooges cover; either 13 or 48 by Gold Key, or this photo could have been used on an earlier Four Color #.

The clue made me think of an old fashioned baseball uniform. My first thought was the Abbott and Costello movie The Naughty Nineties where they did their who's on first routine in antique baseball garb. Then I thought it might be a Bob Hope movie adaptation. A Three Stooges cover was my third choice.

Also, I swore I would get revenge, ever since you fooled me with the Three Stooges cover of Four Color 1043.
