    It's funny, I'm not all that fond of Harlan Ellison's fiction but I love his interviews and non-fiction. Yes he can be caustic, but he tends to skewer things that need skewering and his command of the language is masterful.

    Great interview.

    Talking A Creative Genius and a very Nice Man!

    About ten years ago I took my 9 year-old nephew to Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC.
    A kindly man walked up to us both and spoke to my nephew and asked if he was having a good time at the show. My nephew said yes and that was that.

    But I had to smile because that kind man was Harlen Ellison one of the most creative writers that has ever entertained me and a swell guy that was happy to see a kid at his first comicbook convention and just stopped by to say hello.

    You know, I've read very little of Ellison, but I love his sermons to the populace. Even if I don't agree with some of what he says, he just says it so well it seems impolite to argue.
