I don't even want to go into the implications of Kitty falling in love with a guy she acknowledges having no chemistry with. That's just awful. At least with Colossus she had a history.

It won't matter. Wood has already stated that he isn't going to be addressing romantic pairings that are being dealt with in other titles and Bendis doesn't seem to have an interest in the pairing either. If people are reading WATXM for Kitty Pryde then something is wrong with them.

But how can Wood not adress those pairings if he's so interested in dealing with relationships and sex... he'd only be able to do that with Jubilee and Rachel.

I think he said relationships that originated in other books. So that could include Rogue, especially with Uncanny Avengers shitty release schedule. Plus he mentioned that he's not a fan of the Storm and Wolverine romance, neither of whom have ever really cared much about fidelity anyway.

I really just want Kitty x Iceman to be isolated into the one Kitty book I won't be reading. They aren't even an interesting couple..they're just cringeworthy.

Like pryde said, nobody gives a shit about that pairing but Aaron, so nobody's going to write them like he does. Bendis has already written Kitty and Iceman together and they're acting exactly like they're supposed to be (which is, the exact opposite of what's happening in WATXM). So really, let him play with his Hellfire pets, more important and relevant X-books (and writers) are writing her right.

I'd like to think we are all mature enough to admit that R'Chel is the better character.

I like that Jason Aaron is such a horrible writer he needed to release a twitter update so people couldn't misinterpret his intentions for the couple. 'Course that being said it's annoying to me that one person can tie up one of my favorite characters with an absolute anchor in Bobby. You won't find a lazier, lamer, poor man's spiderman in Bobby Drake.

There is a silver lining. Cable, All New, Uncanny X-men, Uncanny X-force and the newly relaunched X-men should kill this title. They're not just in competition with Uncanny for the most part.

I just don't think he understands Kitty..who isn't necessarily one of the hardest characters to understand since she has such a strong personality, but yeah his interpretation of the character has been one of my least favorites.

I'd first like to start by saying that I consider myself to be an honorary Kitty litter. With that being said, I have a question and I figured there's no better place to ask it. Have one of my quickly rising faves (Surge) and the lovable Kitty "potty-mouth" Pryde ever crossed paths? I know who would've inevitably came out on top, but I'm curious to know have they exchanged a harsh word or two? Plz&thnx all!
