I still don't get the new growth formula. Jan's already been shown to be able to grow in size (I think this was back in Austen's run), so why does it seem like they're making this a new thing? Or is the new formula just supposed to "streamline" the shift between small to giant-size and make it faster or something?
Bendis didn't talk about the Hawkeye scene. That was the best scene!
This is all cliffhanger....the payoff is in #8, y'all...must have #8....don't get hit by a truck before #8......8...8...8...8..8...8....whammo!
Point being........commenting on #7 is difficult to do...because we haven't seen #8 yet. This issue coulda sucked...or it coulda been great....need #8 to know.
dormammy's reign. hee hee hee. hilarious like a stinking turd. mmm
The more Bendis praises his own and Yu's work, the less enjoyment I seem to get from the series. I can barely tolersate Yu's art, yet he apparently drew "the greatest Watcher drawing ever"? Um, no. He did not. Not even close.
I should stop reading the Spoilers Of War. They make me want to read less of Bendis' work.
That last page . . . it occurred to me when reading the book too, but look how padded Jan's hips and crotch are. Like she's wearing a diaper underneath her costume.![]()

We need more Black Knight and Faiza Hussain!

You think Yu is great. I do not. I found some of his panels almost indecipherable as to what was happening, and had to look at them several times to figure out what he was going for. his style just irks me.
And I am not hatin' on the series, but I have found I am enjoying each issue less than the one before. But I'm committed now, so I'll see it through to the end. I loved Bendis' ALIAS, DAREDEVIL, POWERS and such, but I'm finding his Avengers work, and by extension SI, to be less than his best. Then when I read how great he thinks SI is, and all I can think is "I disagree with you on most of your points", it takes a bit of the enjoyment out of it for me.
I came into SI with high expectations, most of them put there by Bendis himself, and I feel let down so far. I'm hopeful he'll be able to reverse that feeling with #8.
Hi, my name is Peter Parker and I make satanic pacts with demons..I shall not buy Amazing Spider-Man until the marriage returns. Be a part of the movement.
So remember how for months and months we were speculating about Jessica and Luke's skrull baby? Was it a skrull pretending to be a baby, or were Jessica or Luke themselves a skrull, we asked ourselves.
Yeah.... what happened to that? Apparently the baby is... not a skrull? Or a skrull half-breed? Just a baby?
To be realistic here, I'm not so sure that one issue is going to turn everything around and make #1-7 look great if you didn't like those already.
I would imagine that that would be resolved within the mini series as well, especially since we saw the baby here but we'll see where that goes.
