"There are so many great books for all ages out there, wouldn’t it be great if kids started discovering them in school?"

Jay helped my grade 1-2 students discover comics in school when he gave me permission to reproduce and cut and paste portions of Clan Apis for use in our Bee unit a couple years ago. I am convinced that they learned more about bees using the comic than they would have if I just used the other sources I had.

I have a copy of Clan in my grade 3 class now and if it is like last year the book will become more popular as the kids become stronger readers.

    thanks,

OK, I know for a fact my comic shop wouldn't normally buy this book, so I'm going to be sure to ask them to order this. Sounds great.

Is CLAN APIS still available as a trade?

    Default Amazon has all three

I don't know about Diamond, but Amazon lists all three of the professor's books as in stock and available -- good discount too. I didn't know about this one (and have ordered it), but I have and truly enjoyed the other two.
