Default Komodo Dragon VS Honey Badger.

Komodo Dragon VS Honey Badger. Khazan arena match, both animals are hungry and desperate. Who takes this one.

Bonus scenario: Both animals scaled up to 400ft tall and turned loose in Manhattan. Again, both are hungry and desperate. And the other looks like a nice bite. Who does more damage?

Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger, Mush-mushroom.

Seriously, the Badger can run rings around it, until the Komodo is promtply pissed off enough to dash-charge it and bite it.

One bite from the KD and the badger is done.

It actually takes quite awhile for that to take an effect.

The really scary thing about the Komodo Dragon's bite is that it isn't a poison its an infection.

Hmm.. thems both being scaled to the same size makes this more interesting. The Badger has a crazy pain tolerance and is quite quick. I don't think a Bite from the dragon will do much to it in the course of this fight. Even so I'm inclined to go with the komodo dragon since its hide should be harder to actually bite through.

Would being warmblooded give the Badger an edge over the reptilian dragon with them both scaled up so much?

Pound for pound the Badger is gonna rip any reptile apart.

Interestingly monitor lizards rival mammals in many things, one of the few reptiles with a higher metabolism and such, but its going against a mustelid which is the same but for mammals.

It would in New York. That place can get cold in the winter.

I don't think he meant to infection, just the bite.

Anyways...Komodo takes the fight in bloodlust (though if this happened in the wild, it'd probably give up and run away).

Scaled up to equal size, the badger wins.

Bloodloss should kill it pretty quick.

    If not that, the infection.

    If that fails, the saliva.

The Komodo tears it apart in the 1st scenario. IDK about the second one.

A mustelid pretty much rips apart any vertebrate of similar size. That means the badger takes it in scenario 2.

Wouldn't the badger wind up as roadkill pretty quickly on such busy streets?

The KDs bite without the poisen would kill the HB. They easily tear and rip flesh from huge ass Wildebeast and animals like that, and with the most powerful/bacteria infected mouth in the world(more than the snake in the video which put down the HB for a minute). But hitting the zhb is the hard part.
