I think I died a little with each word of that.

So it'll be a 'tween circus-kid who probably solves crimes in the towns they visit with plucky charm and acrobatic skills!
...and there'll probably be a raven-haired tween girl named Donna he'll have a thing for, and maybe--in a Smallville-ish 'Mxyzptlk' way--a redheaded circus Strong Girl (big for her age) named Kori will also pique his interest... and eventually he'll team up with a new kid in the circus named Roy, who's really good with a bow...
This is October 1st, right? Not April?
Okay, I get how Smallville works. That's because there were Superboy stories. Superboy was all about SuperMAN when he was a BOY. So, I get how Smallville just uses Clark and his powers without the costume and the whole premise will end when he suits up as Superman. There have been some bumps along the way, in how the influences guide Clark toward his destiny.
I'm not sure how long The Graysons will last. If the Haley Circus is updated to Cirque de Soleil or Ringling Brothers, obviously the show's gonna be about more than just the circus. But what? They probably can't use any Bat-villains. A lot of the early Titans villains were lame. Can they even use any New Teen Titans villains? Will we see Roy, Wally, Donna or Garth? Will we even see Bruce Wayne?
A small part of me hopes that Adam West and Burt Ward make quick cameos just for grins and giggles...
The only good thing about this? The last episode is when his parents get snuffed. C'mon, how f'd up a downer episode would that have to be?
Even more confusing though, with Superman, there's a gap between his teens and his late 20s/ early 30s when he first puts on the costume, so there's no problem if the show goes a couple years. With this, the older he gets, the odder it is for him to put on green underwear and sidekick for Bats.
The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!
Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!
In other words, what StoneGold said.

did they learn nothing from the crappy batman movies?
seriously, why would i want to watch a show about Robin in highschool?
Is this a joke? Why not just make a Bruce Wayne series instead?
Oh, now THAT would be awesome. And at least with that, we could have a few cameos of Bats.I would much rather have a Batgirl story that centered on Barbara Gordon
I'm not sure how I feel about this.....Not to say Dick didn't seem smart when he was younger, but I think he learned many of his skills(Except, of course, the acrobatics)from Bruce. So, what is this going to be about? Dick swinging around all day, preparing for the next show?
It's all academic anyway. This show will go the way of Aquaman and then the "D.J." character will pop up on Smallville.
