Getting J Scott Campbell to do the covers was a great idea, he used to do Caricatures of Pop Culture items for High School annuals before he got his Wildstorm job.

Can't help but wonder, though. Isn't he supposed to have been exclusive to Marvel or working on some Spider-man project back when you could still kind of recognize Spider-man as a character? It was two years ago.

I still don't see how Obama is the Democratic nominee. The only reason he may win is 'he's the alternative', not the best the of reasons. He just isn't ready. Not that anyone can be ready enough.

This is such a good idea I'm betting most publishers in the industry are wishing they thought of this. I've seen these things mentioned everywhere.

I'll pick these up, definitely, but I might take quite as good care with my McCain issue.

These books look a lot better than I thought they would. Though I generally dislike the "illustrated prose" style used in most non-fiction comics. Just looking at the thumbnails, all I could see was caption boxes.

neat! this is certainly an idea that could only be pulled off correctly in a medium like comics. i'm not sure how i feel about the Campbell covers, though. Obama looks about 13 and McCain looks kind of evil and coniving...


Anyway, i read the few pages provided and really enjoyed the straightforwardness of it. i think a neat experiment would be to see which issue sells more, as kind of a comic book readers poll.

I also sencerely hope the back cover of this title has information on how to register and vote, otherwise this little experiment is in vain.
