I have never been interested in Blade on bit, vampires bore me, I hated Buffy, but I am dying to see if Cornell can make it work. Most...ok all of the characters in MI13 are brand new to me so I figure why not give Blade a chance as well.

Issue #4 was great read so I look forward to the coming issues.

What would be some good Blade stories for me to check out? I did like the movies though, love when they come TNT on a Sunday afternoon.

    AHAHA!

Brother Voodoo is a big favorite of mine. I was thinking of being him for Halloween.

And he has had a costume change, hasn't he? This was one of his recent appearances.

I myself would recommend the last Blade series that ended about two years ago. You can find both trades in shops, Blade Vol. 1: Undead Again and Vol. 2: Sins of the Father. Mind you, the art is subjective. You either dig it or hate it. A lot of people seem to have disliked it and walked away from the book despite me thinking it was great and hoping the series to continue.

They had one but that also failed. People just can't seem to give the guy a break.

There's talk of there being a new Sorcerer Supreme. I hope Brother Voodoo gets it.

Until I see a Brother Voodoo corpse, he's still alive and kicking.

    He better damn be!

If you guys were picked to write a Blade series, lets say a mini or whatever, what you be your idea? Me, for one I'd establish that Blade doesn't only go after vampires, that he goes after supernatural baddies period. I feel it gets to a point that vampires just doesn't seem like a big threat, especially with vastly powerful superheroes everywhere. So it'd be up to Blade to go for the monsters that go bump in the night. Also, definitely have a supporting cast and as I mentioned myself, I'd include Brother Voodoo. Or maybe I'll just put them in a road trip buddy series.

    Or maybe have a Blade/Deadpool one-shot.

Thank you, I saw after I posted another poster asked the same thing.

I was really disappointed w/ Chaykin's art on the 6 issue stint he did with Wolverine so I might stay away from the current trade, although I do dig Guggenheim so maybe if I find them for cheap I'll pick them up.

An Essential Blade trade with his Tomb of Dracula stories in them would be cool.

I don't see all the Skrull-naped folks as dead either.

Yeah, but Bendis is writing it. And he loves him some '70s Marvel.

    Very doubtful.

I still think Doom gets the title loses it, then Brother Voodoo picks it up.
