OMG I'm so stoked for this mini series! Two beautiful, powerful, and amazingly wonderful black women who will both be having a mini series in October is earth shattering! Storm and Vixen! What more can I ask for?!
I'm on this like white on rice.![]()

This economy is tightening my budget and I usually stick to my favorite old school characters. But I think I am going to get this.
I only recently became a Vixen fan from the JLU show and I no longer read the JLA book. So this mini is a good opportunity to get to know the character.
Those covers are beautiful, by the way.

Vixen is barely tolerable in "JLA". I have a feeling this mini is going to rival Gambit's three previous minis in useless boredom ....
- Why can't fan-boys spell "rogue" correctly ?
I'm another poster who only really knows Vixen from the Justice League cartoon, but I'm very interested in checking out this mini-series. That first cover looks great too (and not just because she doesn't have beachballs strapped to her chest like in Justice League of America).
Have a good day.

What more can I ask for, a BP/Storm Divorce and return to her true self. Otherwise awesome news for both.
Wow Vixen is the third best written and enjoyable JLA at the moment in my books, only Roy and Kendra are more enjoyable and Gambit has always been awesome.

Any guesses on the second League member who appears in the mini?

Cape shall not kill cape. Kometa!
I know next to nothing about the character, but it still looks quite an interesting series. Hopefully their will be some background given on the character in it.
I love the idea of black power couple too ... just not one that was thrown together in a ham-fisted, editorially-mandated way.
And the fact that they are even considering giving the pair a divorce now, only a couple dozen months after the "blessed event," just proves that it was little more than a stunt on Marvel's part to begin with.
If they had given the relationship time to percolate and develop, I would have had little problems with it. But saying, boom, okay they're in love now is just ridiculous.
And I am DEFINITELY getting this mini - have always been a fan of Vixen.
