I really like Fred VanLente's writing...but not having Ed Brubaker writing this book is just Criminal...I know...bad pun

This is probably the best news I've heard out of the X-Offices all year.
This actually sounds interesting and creative! I'm going to buy it when it comes out, I think I'm going to enjoy it quite a bit!

I called all but the creative team as soon as the Magneto teaser hit. Not that I'm not interested.
Neat, I look forward to it.
I can't wait to see Noir Quicksilver.
And I demand action figures.

I was initially skeptical about all of those pics and what they were leading up to, but after reading the article and getting a bit more insight into this series, I'm starting to turn around a little. I still have some apprehension left over though. The straight up noir/crime genre has never really been my thing and I think that'll remain until some preview pages appear, so I'll just wait and see.
