BoP/Huntress Questions for Tony

Just wondering if you plan on dealing with Helena a bit more? I feel like we have no idea what she does outside of being Huntress (besides teaching). I think she lives in the new 'Clocktower', but other than that I feel like we don't know much. I would really love an update on her relationships and her relationship with religion, she has gone back and forth so much, I'm wondering where her head is at. We have seen so much of Misfits life lately, I'm hoping Helena gets the same page time.

Huntress is the main reason I started reading BoP and the main reason I continue with it, other than now Tony Bedard whose one of my favorite comic writers, is writing the book. I hope there's a plan to give her a main story in the near future and feature her more prominently. We seem to be getting less and less of her but I'm assuming it's just the current story that's dictating that. I'd love for Tony to do with this character what Gail Simone was able to do with Black Canary.

Helena Bertinelli is wealthy. I can't imagine her living at Clocktower System is permanent. Plus she strikes me as too independent. I'd like to see stories that revolve around her teaching. Some of the best Huntress stories involved helping out her most troubled kids and their family situations. I want to see Helena and Barbara's relationship grow closer.

These are all good points, and one of the challenges of a team book is giving everyone the attention they deserve. I do want to give Helena more of a spotlight, and I'll get to it, but there are a few other things to juggle at the same time...

Do you think there is an Earth 2 version of the BOP? Obviously Huntress (Helena Wayne) would be on the team...who else would you include?

This is a really neat idea, but I'm not sure what the current deal is with Earth-2. I mean, it used to be the Crime Syndicate Earth, but now?

Somebody with a more current knowledge please chime in and clue me in.

I think Michael was referring to Earth-2 of the JSA Annual starring Power Girl (which has the Justice Society Infinity featuring the 80s members of Infinity Inc.) not the Antimatter Earth-2 of the Crime Syndicate (now appearing in Trinity). But a BOP in either universe would be cool.

And I would have to vote for Jade cause she is my favorite heroine but really Doc Mid-nite would be most appropriate.

Although Huntress is wealthy, she's never flaunted it and I wouldn't expect that to change. Besides she's always liked to fly under the radar. It would be neat to see her use some of her money to say starting a kids center or use it to help them in some way. I've always thought of Huntress a child's advocate and believed she'd funnel her money into programs that helped children. I also agree her living at CTS doesn't seem permanent. I expect to see her making other living arrangements soon. As for her and Babs relationship, I enjoy their relectutant appreciation for one another and I too would like to see more progress made in their relationship. I do like how Huntress and Lady Blackhawk relationship's has developed. I never thought they'd be as good of friends as they are. They are so different from one another but it plays well.

There's so many cool things that can be done with this character, Huntress that is. With her history there's no reason she can't shine as a character, nor she should she ever be relegated to the background. She's too interesting of a character!

I would agree with werehawk, Jade is by far my favorite heroine, but how can you go wrong with Helena!
