Honestly, there hasn't been anything in Negima period that I haven't enjoyed so far.

There's nothing really wrong with Negima. I've just been annoyed with it for the last few arcs and I mostly read it out of interest in a little over a dozen of the supporting characters.

I don't think the problem lies with Negi himself, but the plot's gotten kinda clunky and too overboard for its own good ever since it started trying being catastrophist and huge scale. I mean, now Negi's plan will take 100 freaking years to complete?! Bull.

That, and honestly, the rest of the cast doesn't feel as useful anymore compared to the very core characters.

i still read it when the new chapters come out but...................its been dull for me. nothing too terrible but just nothing that stands out and makes me excited to read the next chapter. like you said, nik, its............average. it doesn't do anything wrong but doesn't do anything to get noticed.

Uh oh Natsumi, looks like your "paranoid because another female gets along well with her crush and she might be competition but don't worry she's just an outgoing friend" might get upgraded to "Okay, maybe you did have reason to worry."

And Sakurako being paired up with Fate is hilarious. They don't even need to say anything.

I guess age pill time limits ruined the mood, lol.

Upon further looking up what they are saying, it appears the girls think that older Fate is Fate's brother or cousin, and that Negi is the same "Nagi" from earlier that Ako crushed on, and that Kotaro is also an alter ego. Madoka was seriously considering asking him out, and said so to Ako, who knows about the whole age pill thing, so it's kind of a funny scene.

Misa's reverse hikaru genji plan remains though.
