I didn't realize Ethan Van Sciver was a star creator.
Jason
Barry Allen returning has excited me to no end! Thank you DC Comics!
If Flash Rebirth is even half as good as what Johns and Van Scriver did with Hal Jordan then I'll be a happy man. Now seems like the perfect time for Barry to return and I can't think of a better creative team to be handling it.
Plastic Man: Rebound, or howzabout (following Didildo's comments that Ralph & Sue and Ted may be too difficult to bring back) Elongated Man: Reanimated?

If a creative team was to bring back Barry Allen to the DCU, Van Sciver and Johns would be the perfect team to do it. Can't think of anyone else to do it.
With regard to Plastic Man, I'd be interested to see who would be writing that book when Ethan is freed up eventually. It's good that Didio knows it would take a star name to do it. The pitfall they have to avoid is what happens after Van Sciver moves on to his next project.
Better to just make it a mini to ensure Van Sciver does all the issues.
I can't wait to see what Barry thinks of any of the new heros, and how almost everything's changed. It's kind of weird.....I've barely even read ANYTHING with Barry in it, yet I am just SO happy that he's back.
