I like the idea of Spiderman being absent in his own title because of his Avengers activities, and that causing a lot of paranoia in the supporting cast of his book. Cool idea, and sort of a fun inadvertent poke about characters in several books suddenly not being everywhere at once.

I've noticed a lot of people wishing that the Skrull ship Spiderman had been the real deal, by the way. How is saying that Spiderman has been a Skrull all of this time not a million times worse than OMD?

Yeah. Matt Banning. And while he makes Tan look a bit different than Miki did, I still don't like it.

Well the grass is always greener on the other side, right? When Joe Q first said he didn't like the marriage there were tons of posts complaining he was going to kill MJ or divorce them, even after he said he wouldn't do either of those. Then Mephisto shows up and there's plenty of people saying it would have been better if she was killed or they divorced.

But that's the internet for you.

wow. Bendis hasn't failed once at turning me off w/ his dialogue. i hate how he talks. i hate how he makes the characters talk. can't they get someone to ghostwrite this?

Because he didn't make the deal with Mephisto. That is worse than him being a Skrull for a few decades
