Love his work on The Twelve covers, not so much the mythos stuff.

    Still, I'm sure he's a welcome addition.

I'm looking forward to his issue with Wells. His painted stuff is a bit hit or miss. Love the covers on The Twelve, and his Captain America: Mythos book was gorgeous, but I don't like that Spider-Man: Mythos cover.

Looking forward to this, more due to Wells.

But the promo image is nice.

comic fans aren't happy unless there's something to bitch about

I buy comics for the characters not for the writer/artist

Hmmmm, I generally do not like his stuff especially the Mythos stuff but the cover pic is pretty cool.....maybe 'cause it's inked and not painted? Dunno why....but it looks cool enough to get me interested and I DO like Wells so far on ASM.

Oh man...hate it when people draw Spidey with the tiny eyes.

It's like drawing Superman with a tiny cape or Batman with minuscule ears/horns/whatever you want to call them.

    Just doesn't look right.

Agreed. He's probably going for a Ditko-like depiction for Spidey, though to be fair.

Now the skull on the Punisher on the other hand--that just looks weak.

On a closer look, this also has a bit of a Chaykin look to it, doesn't it? Especially Punisher's face.....
