Is one of the best relatively unknown artist out there,

I'm picking this up for sure.

If there's one, AND ONLY ONE, comic series that I've always been consistently buying and looking out for, it's UDON's Street Fighter series. I'm excited about SFII Turbo, and I like the fact that there will be shifting POV's, but I wonder which character who eats chicken lying on the street will appear.

Street Fighter comics rock and I'm very excited about all the upcoming SF book Udon will be releasing. I just hope there aren't big delays after issues.

Not this time. One of the things we love most about Chamba is that he's an artwork MACHINE. Even doing 100% of the artwork by his lonesome (lineart AND colours) he's already completed the first 2 issues. So from October onwards expect at least 1 new Street Fighter comic every month.

IIRC, characters in Final Fight restored their HP by picking up chicken (and full roasted turkeys!) off the ground...

I'm hoping for no delays either. This is the LAST chance I'm giving Udon. I enjoy these books but their huge delays are just unacceptable. If they can't release these upcoming titles consistently, I'm done with them. Oh, and Chun Li better be kicking some ass!

Yeah, I knew beforehand that it was going to be one of the Final Fight characters, but which one is what's concerning me at the moment. In the end, Cody, Guy, and Haggar are some of my favorite characters, and I would hate to see any of them suffer an ignomious defeat.

Default Street Fighter comics to check out BEFORE the upcoming Street Fighter comics

I really am not too familiar with Street Fighter comics. The only one I've read is the one that came with my SF Anniversary PS2 controller.

I got some advice on what to check out from Strugler over at the streetfighterblog.blogspot.com:
    http://streetfighterblog.blogspot.co...s-preview.html

I had posted a follow up question on the comics specifically to check out based on his suggestions, but hadn't got a response. I thought I'd post here and see if anyone could guide me:

Hey strugler, I wanted to verify the Street Fighter volume trade paperbacks you mentioned in your earlier comment

Street Fighter 1: Round One Fight! (Paperback, 2006)
Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers (Paperback, 2006) for $8.88
    Street Fighter 3: Fighter's Destiny (Paperback, 2007) for $8.73
Street Fighter 4: Bonus Stage (Paperback, 2007) for $8.20

For the Sakura one, are you talking about:
Street Fighter Sakura Ganbaru! 1 (Paperback, 2007)
    &
Street Fighter Sakura Ganbaru! 2 (Paperback, 2007)

    Or are you talking about:
Street Fighter Legends Volume 1: Sakura by Ken Siu-Chong and Omar Dogan (Paperback - Mar 28, 2007)

On half.com, I found a seller who has volume 2-4 and both of the Sakura Ganbarus. I shot him an e-mail to see if I could get combined shipping if I bought all of them through him.

I don't see Street Fighter Legends Volume 1: Sakura on half.com, but do see it on Amazon.
