Ooh, that RISE OF THE SITH Omnibus is a nice 'n weird little collection of one-shots, storyarcs and miniseries. I'd like to see more SW books like that.

And I'm also glad they're collecting VECTOR in its own trades. Makes sense, of course, but nice to see.

I'm excited about Rise of the Sith. I only have the four-issue Darth Maul TPB, so I won't mind a little double-dipping. Chronologically they all from a few years to a few months before Episode I, and all published within a few years of each other. It should make for a great pre-prequel read, as it introduces the Jedi Council, the dynamic duo, and of course the Sith.

Now Early Victories, that's a weird collection: Shadow Stalker, Tales from Mos Eisley, River of Chaos, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, Vader's Quest. None of those stories really go together thematically, and they skip all over the time period between Episodes IV and V, and era where new comics are still coming out.
