Default The "What the hell happened to my posts?" thread.

Every now and then you guys may notice that some of your comments are no longer in the thread in which you made them. To make navigation a bit easier, I figured I'd have one thread where all major moves would be discussed.

Sometimes I will decide a topic that comes up in a thread (and often threatens to derail it) merits its own thread. Or I may decide that some off-topic posts belong in another thread. Or for whatever reason, I may have to delete an entire thread, and many posts on a subject.

Case in point, a thread about an off-the-record conversation between one poster and writer Mark Millar was deleted at the original poster's request after he realized that he likely misinterpreted Millar.

Meanwhile, 30 or so posts from a thread about how current Amazing Spider-Man sales should be measured were moved into The Deal with Mephisto thread, as they dealt exclusively with that subject.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

Does anyone know what happened with the Mark Miller exclusive inverview a fan posted? My guess is either the fan was lying or that someone from Marvel requested the thread to be deleted.

Mark Millar got a bit annoyed because he felt the fan had badly misrepresented what he said, and the original poster requested the thread be deleted.

Thank you. There is irony in the fact that Mark is upset that someone lied to the public in order to promote their own ideas.

You searched by keyword as opposed to username, thus you only got the posts in which someone referred to you by name.

As noted in the first post...

40 posts on the subject of Peter Parker's stint as a paparazzi (and whether or not his villains would have better suited Antman) were moved from the "In hindsight, what should the BND creators have done differently thread" to a new thread.

i missed this whole ordeal but im glad the way mm handled the situation and it seemed to get resolved in a good manner. good job to the way both parties handled their situation.
comic fans aren't happy unless there's something to bitch about

I buy comics for the characters not for the writer/artist

currently reading issue 340 of amazing spiderman cd-rom.

Millar was really nice about it. He deserves a lot of credit for that.
