This interview has me pumped for the Diggle run. I can't wait to see who the new team members are, some of the current ones don't fit, like Radioactive Man for example.

I am an anarchist. Deal with it.

I am nervous, I mean when you are talking about the current best series being published there is only one way to go
Well, if we're lucky they're not going to go anywhere. I know the art department will stay at the top.
I've really hated this series since Ellis took over, but Diggle is a good writer so I'll give his first issue a shot.
I agree with you. I enjoyed Gage's first issue, and I'm sure I'll enjoy his next two. I'm not familiar with Diggle, but this interview makes it sound like the T-Bolts will be fun and interesting with him as writer.
Ellis just needs to stay on projects that are depressing and sadistic, for people who enjoy that kind of thing.
I get enough of that in the news.
I seriously miss Captain Mar-Vell.
Diggle on T-Bolts? SOLD AND SOLD.
I've been a big fan of Diggle since "The Losers." I'm looking forward to this.
I've been loving the crap out of the Ellis issues, much more than the Nicieza run that lost it's magic somewhere along his run so it was a shame to see Ellis leave.
Christos does a good job but I don't know if I'd continue to buy it if it was just him (no offense Christos) so Andy Diggle will have to really blow me away although I have read his Adam Strange book which was great.
Same here. I've been a Thunderbolts fan from the beginning but felt like it had lost something since it relaunched as "New Thunderbolts." It needed a shot of adrenaline and Ellis gave it that. Gage has done well too. I liked the first issue of his SI arc and probably would've stuck around had he been named the new regular writer.
But I'll give Diggle a chance. I'm just not that familiar with him. I think the only work of his I've read is Green Arrow: Year One and I liked that. It's hard to know what to expect since they can't reveal the post-SI landscape yet. I'm fine with the idea of a lineup change though, as long as we don't lose Songbird and Moonstone. I'd also like to see Swordsman stick around.
ten internet bucks says he kills off Swordsman.
Well one thing you can always say about Thunderbolts is that it is the comic book of change. Even in its original incarnation it was constantly having theme/leadership/roster changes. They could of put out a hundred issues of the original masters of evil pretending to be new heroes but took the very bold step of Zemo revealing thier true nature to the world to teach the 'bolts a lesson after only the first 10 issues. Readers were shocked that the 'world' learned thier true identities so quickly.
They even had a horrible run when the whole team was scrapped for what was termed 'Thunderbolts Fightclub issues' which didnt have a single thunderbolt in it or a prayer of survival.
So don't be surprised to see constant roster/theme changes and dont complain if it isn't as good as it use to be, because when it comes to the Thunderbolts another change is just around the corner constantly.
I am just glad that my favorite comic is pretty darn close to becoming Marvel canon, getting up there with the big boys. I once spoke with Mark Bagley at a comic con and he said he was just happy that one of the comics he helped to introduce made it as long as it has. (He signed some of my T-bolts issues :) )
The only reason I can think this announcement even comes close to bad is that it's not Diggle and Pascual Ferry on Iron Man.
The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!
Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!
In other words, what StoneGold said.
