Iron Man DOS becoming a War Machine ongoing written by Pak? I'm sold. Hopefully he does away with the cyborg stuff from The Initiative.

Sweet. Anyone else notice the black and white images from the What If the Runaways became the Young Avengers story they announced a while back?

Nico and Karo's costumes are a horrid mess (leg warmers? a boob window? wtf?) It looks like fun. Of course since this a is What If I have to wonder if it will end with a "Rocks fall. Everyone dies" scenario.

Clone, alien technology, superhuman healing (either a healing factor or healing from someone like Elixir), etc...

I'm split two ways about Rhodey being a cyborg.

On one hand, it adds a further complexity to the character, that a lot of writers could go in very different places with, and tell good stories.

On the the other hand, its not a particularly new concept in Marvel, especially in the Iron Man mythos. Now Pepper has an Arc Reactor chest-piece after what happened in the pages of Invincible Iron Man.

In Rhodey's case, I want to see him outside of the armor, how he is different from Tony, and how he interacts with people when he isn't War Machine.

Also in December - Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon returning to Punisher with Punisher: War Zone, a weekly 6-issue miniseries, set in the "Garth Ennis Marvel Knights Punisher (universe)."

    Not gonna happen.

I can virtually guarantee you the cyborg stuff was in The Initiative because thats a part of the plans for the ongoing.

That and I'm not a big fan of people disregarding material from Slott titles.

I’m most psyched about the Agents of Atlas ongoing. I loved the mini. They should meet up with the Livewires!

I called Iron Man DOS becoming War Machine. I didn't see Pak writing it. Still sad we never got to see The Knuaf's last arc. Pak writing it doesn't fill me with joy. Though I suppose War Machine will now be able to beat everyone in the MU with Pak at the helm.

Agents of Atlas is cool, but something I don't see lasting that long. Hope I'm wrong.
The Blue Marvel stuff interest me. Sound like a nice concept.

Electric Ant is something I'm oddly excited for.

And that IIM cover just makes me want to see Aja do something with the character all the more.

Who would you have Marvel hire to write a War Machine ongoing?

I hope they re-number the comic.

I hate when War Machine 40 is the first issue...
