    Blah. I feel misled. :/

I was under the impression that the series would actually be animated, rather than just taking existing panels from the book and basically shaking them around. I suppose I should've read the article first.

Oh well. The books are still great.

Yeah, that's kinda cheap.... reminds me of the fake Mr Incredible cartoon series in the Incredibles DVD extras. The one that had people's real lips syncing superimposed on the static drawings.

The books do indeed kick ass, but if you are gonna do a cartoon, do a real cartoon.

The difference is, that was a humorous reference to an actual series while this is just a cheap and lazy attempt to cash in on a popular comic.

Kirkman deserves whatever money MTV is giving him, but he also deserves an actual, quality animated series based on his work.

Whatever, the last time MTV actually put in an effort on something like this we got that terrible CGI Spider-Man show with Peter inexplicably acting out of character and the episodes very noticeably aired out of order. And oh yeah, not Aunt May because OMG, old P33ples R teh suXXors!

Wow this is so great... I love it when they take Kirkman's comics and 'animate' them! What a great cartoon Battle Pope was.... NOT!!!

    metalhead_dave743 reflects my thoughts:

OK, good, it wasn't just me.

Although I wondered what kind of legs that series would have...

Even the webtoons for Battle Pope at least got animated. This? They might as well have made it a radio drama. That's not animation. Hell, even just cuting and pasting panels and charactrers would work better. The word baloons take away more than anything.

Agreed. In fact, they should put a warning on the thing because the constant throbbing of the balloons could induce seizures.

Incredibly craptastic, has kirkman really given his seal of approval to this. I'm not sure if it's one step up or one step down from the Comic with a Record idea from many years ago. I suspect it's down, at least you had a comic with the record.

FFS why are they showing the dialog and speaking it as well, is it for the hard of thinking or just to give more motion to the flat image.
