So, finally some footage. All in all a nice trailer - 'though the voice over is even more ridiculous than they usually are.

Well, no real news, but lotsa characters appearing makes me a happy camper. Still curious about how the gameplay's going to work, but I'm satisfied for the time being.

I've got one complaint though. I realize that it's most likely done to highlight the DC characters and to make it easier for the uninitiated to distinguish between NPCs and PCs and that it's surely no indicator of future limitations, but nevertheless it kind of irks me that all the player characters look the same (aside from the distinction of two(?) body types so far) and horribly boring to boot - uniform costume design, uninspired color schemes, no little wings or huge pouches or anything.

Besides, the bad-ass way the two bulky guys in the Batcave are standing just can't be comfortable.

It's nice to see this many characters that are going to appear within this series.

This looks cool! Now I'd like to see more of what options players will have as far as how their character will look.

Cool for the people who own PS3. Not so cool for those of us who own a 360.

Default This Game is Not Finished!

Let me be the very first to post this, as it will be posted on gaming boards when it finally is released:

"This game is not finished, it's bugy, I hate paying to BETA test. And there is no end game content. Once I got past ______ level, there just wasn't anything to do. And the classes are unbalanced, everyone is just rerolling __________'s so everyone is the same class. I can't believe I paid $49 for this, and now they want $15 a month on top of it? This game will be dead in 2 months."

    I'm going back to _______________. "

Seriously it looks like a pretty version of City of Heroes/Villains

Yeah it does. Still, willing to give it a shot until I find something really disastrous about the gameplay.

I was actually hoping the Marvel thing would come out for the 360. It would have given me a reason to play it again besides Oblivion.

Yeah but that whole game was put on hold for, forever? But DCU and the old Marvel online games were/are scheduled for both console and PC release right?

I know that each game was exclusively for one console but both are supposed to be on PC, or just DCU now that Marvel is a no go?

The guys doing the Marvel MMO ran out of money and called it quits.
Amazing Spider-Man, Future Foundation, Captain America, The Invincible Iron Man, The Mighty Thor, The New Avengers, The Avengers, Batman Inc., Detective Comics, Green Lantern

The Guys that where doing the Marvel MMO are now doing Champions online - which looks awesome and I am sorry to say - because I love DC Comics - but the graphics looks heaps better.

Which I will be trying out, but with DC I will wait to see how it goes and when they offer a trial period.

I may give this a shot on the PC if the reviews are good once it's released. No way I am buying the PS3 for one game though.

Why would anyone want to play a MMORPG on a console? I mean...yuck...these games never have controls that translate well to controllers.

Cause playing online for ps3 right now is free? (Hopefully it'll stay that way once the game comes out...).

If it plays like Oblivion, it would have pretty good and easy to use controls. If it has garbage controls like the command & conquer game that came out to long ago, it will suck.
