    Default Valiant

Hey Tony, just a quick question: With the work going on with VEI producing new Valiant Universe content would there be any chance you might do some work for them or have there been any talks with the new owners of the company?

If Valiant's coming back, is there any chance of a QUANTUM & WOODY revival?

I'm itching to reading those missing issues!!!

Thats an excellent question. Currently they have been releasing HC "Prestige" reprints and I hear rumours that a relaunch is in the works.

Considering the love for Q&W I wouldn't be surprised, though there is a hardcore contingent that would be even more happy if they picked up at the end of Unity and ignored most everything post Shooter firing.

The bummer is they don't have the rights to Solar, Magnus or Turok (reverted back to Gold Key I believe, optioned by Random House??) but I'd love a return of Q&W.

    Default Turok in Unity 2000?

Does anyone know if Turok appeared in any issues of Unity 2000? I know he was on the original (not used) cover of #1 but don't know if he appeared.

I'm not aware of any plans for new Valiant stuff, and not part of any of them at the moment.

"What the industry desperately needs is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling—in a word, entertainment. People used to love the characters and care desperately about what happened to them. That’s seldom true these days" -- Jim Shooter(2003)

Man did it take about 3 years when we heard about Valiant's revival? Long time.
