Winter Soldier V1
Winter Soldier V2
Red Menace V1
Red Menace V2
Civil War
Death of Captain America V1
Death of Captain America V2
He is currently 3 issues(well 4 on Wednesday which will be issue 40) into the 3rd part of Death of Captain America.
There is an Omnibus with the first 24 issues available.
The WInter Soldier books are issues 1-9, 11-14. Issue 10 was a House of M tie in that is not collected. Red Menace is issues 15-21, Civil War is 22-24, DOCA V1 is 25-30 and DOCA V2 is 31-36.
Fallen Son is not written by Brubaker but falls between 25 and 26. There was a 1shot recently released, also not Brubaker called Mythos that is WW2 era and Loeb is starting a Cap: White book and #0 hit last week.

I have never understood why Brubaker's books seem to always get numbered this way, especially since his runs tend to be heavily interlinked.

i dont like them numbered that way either. it makes it harder to make sure you buy the trades in order. when i was buying my daredevil trades and i called a bookstore to see if they had hell to pay volume 2 they had trouble finding the right book with hell to pay having a volume 1 and 2.

My guess is that they are broken up that way because his arcs usually average a year in length. the first 14 issues of Cap dealt with the Winter Soldier so Marvel split the trades in half.
Look at his "Devil Inside and Out" arc. That lasted over a year so they split it in 2. I guess it is just how he writes.
