Haha! Close! Someone said he couldn't (or shouldn't) have a "normal" GF because she would be a liability. This never stopped Spidey! Sure Gwen got killed...ok bad example....lol MJ went through hell and back with all his foes but what is a super hero if not there in the nick of time to save the damsel??? lol

^I like Kurt's fangs in that pic. So much sexier than on any of Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Robert Pattinson or even Alexander Skarsgard. (Yeah, I went there--I'm sick of vampires! Where have all the sexy aliens and robots gone??? Can't a girl have a little variety? LOL)

I did make a feeble effort at some point to try and figure out what her deal could possibly be, but she's so contradictory that I gave up and now I just think about her as sort of irredeemably crazy. I think she may suffer/have suffered from male comic book writers' difficulties writing a "strong" woman of any complexity... But I dunno. /shrug
Lol, yeah well... I find her just as diffficult. Thats why I focused on her so briefly in "New Year". I understand how she works and speaks (I hope) but why she does these things, I really forget. To me CC was one of the few to really make her not just another Wolverine adversary, she lost much of her personality when she became soley a Wolverine villian. Carey was the last to really delve into it, too bad he did nothing with Kurt and her. I'll see what I can do, though. Not feeling too much pressure or anything for it to be really good. Nope... >>

I've always been intrigued by the Kurt/Mystique relationship. I remember a scene where Mystique and Kurt are hanging off a cliff and Rogue can only save one. She chooses to let go of the rope instead of Rogue having to make that choice and supposedly falls to her death. I don't remember what issue that was from.

Somewhere I have a fairly good drawing an artist friend did of Mystique with baby Kurt if I can find it.

On a different note, I really like conceptual pictures of the uniforms the X-Men might wear if they really existed. Much more practical (except Emma) and protecting than either spandex or leather. Found on DA here - http://pardoart.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4qwfnj

He has the Logan a little closer to his original height compared to the others than he is often drawn today, which gives him browning points from me

I remember seeing that on DA a while ago. I like the artists style but I still prefer the colored spandex. I know, I know... :-p

Lol, I dunno, he may come out all twisted. I hate to say it but I'd be kinda afraid if any of the arcitects resurrecting him... I can see Kurt returning and start to drink heavily and beat up prositutes to be edgy. Watch the lapsed and bitter catholic be all dark and edgy.

Aww. Cute. I have not one piece of Kurt collectibles that isnt a comic or card. I should get at least one figure but Im thrifty. :-[

I never know what to make of the more bishi Kurt renditions, I can recognize that the drawings are really good but it seems wrong to me.

I guess they are just more Evo inspired.

Well, it could give us an excuse to see Kurt smack the shit out of Wolverine for an issue or two before snapping out of it.

Well, Logan did always think Kurt was too soft on people. He may appreciate it.

I always find those pics a bit off-putting as well, probably because Kurt comes out looking super jail-bait-ey... Pretty, but too pretty.

If we go with Mystique as Kurt's mother, as in recent continuity, I can't believe no one has figured out that the most likely candidate for a furry father is Grover

Hmm...well he's a man with a sense of humour, and he did date a woman with feathers (though I don't think he had Gonzo's chicken fetish).
