From Kirkman's Image (!) series of the same name. Fun series, if gory.

Kind of wrong though, Kitty looks like she's 12.
    Well, isn't she?

About the scans: Yay Kurt in white playing doctor! And the Amanda doll makes me wonder, did Marvel ever put out Bamf dolls?

Hmm... he doesn't look too bad. I suppose I was a bit hasty.

When she first joined she was 13 and a half. I'd like to say 15 and Pete 19 but I don't want to start that...

No Marvel didn't put a BAMF doll out. I used to think they weren't bright business wise but after hearing some horror stories about Nighty toys being taken away from kids by silly parents I'm not surprised. I think of the time when some CBS execs though Spock looked too much like a demon... *rollseyes*

Geez, just because of the ears ?

They would have had a heart attack with Kurt then.

Aww poor kids :c but a Bamf doll would probably look less scary then an action figure.
Oh well, gives fans something to sew.

    Speaking of Spock!

Here we get into the mish-mash that is superhero ages. They all liquefy into sludge when they pass 30, without even collecting $200. So how old people actually are is ambiguous. I thought Emma was quite a bit older than Scott, but apparently she's only 28, which is how old I thought Crawler had to be.

I think by the time of that scan, Kitty had to still be 14, because it's before Excalibur, and even though she more or less sees 18 in Excalibur, Claremont then de-aged her to 16... which makes it difficult to judge how long Excalibur lasted in canon time. But it's a subject of debate. D:

Oh wow! I really like that picture! Is that 'Chameleon Boy' from Legion? with Kurt and Spock?

@ Syrinx! I really hope Marvel decides to age Kitty at least to 21. It's getting a bit ridiculous...

I think she's currently supposed to be at 20 or 21, but I don't have a reference for that. She's been through the X-men, Excalibur, college, X-men again, various adventures and teams in the meantime - how can she be anything under 20? Oh, Marvel.

I think I read on the Nightscrawlers board that it was because of the popularity of Smurfs that they couldn't release any bamf dolls. Worries over who came up with the cute blue doll ideas and rights and stuff. Probably a combination of factors though.

But she can't be a kid genius if she's over 20. How old is everyone pinning Kurt?

I'll never get the popularity of smurfs. Those little blue communists never appealed to me. But they're still hyping here.

Speaking of which, Alan Cumming will be in that smurfs movie.

    I say he's 30.

I was a smurf child. Always had an affinity for blue people, apparently. But the smurf movie will be an atrocity. Alan Cumming just makes it even worse than it was already gonna be. Though I think he's playing Vanity smurf or some iteration there of, which is right up his alley.

That is sincerely the greatest thing I have ever seen! Massive points for including Tobias Funke (The world's leading Analrapist)

I had to look this up in order to realise just what that means.

I'm glad you both like the Blue People trailer; I, too, thought it was the coolest thing ever when I first watched it.
