Lol, why not? He already used the image inducer to look like Tony Stark. I think Kurt sometimes is drawn like a blue Tony Stark, Bruce Wayne or Dick Grayson depending on the artist.

Edit: JUST noticed DR's post. As a fan of both characters, I think kurt is lucky he didn't get skewered like Bishop did

However bishop can pull a Kang and just have a diff version replace him

They both got it rough though that's for sure

I think that should happen to quite a few current Marvel characters for me as I've become so completely turned off that no amount of cheap "redemption" can save the characters for me.

I think it's panels like those, DRogue, that separate Kurt from other 'deformed' mutants and how they're written, and what make him so compelling to read about. The sense was never lost (for me, anyway) that his positive attitude and acceptance of who he was was an ongoing struggle that he fought throughout his life. There was never a moment when he just forgot about it or tried to pretend it didn't matter. It seemed like every time he met someone, or got involved, he'd fight the battle in his head all over again -- probably like most people would in a similar situation. It made him believable.

There's a stark difference in that and in how Beast has been portrayed, and now how the students at JGS are portrayed.

Agreed! And Beast is another character I miss! I'm not big on the current portrayal at all.

@DR: you have a point with how kurt is drawn. If marvel/DC ever decide to crossover again, if like a story where we get nightcrawler to meet one of the bat family. He'd DEFINITELY put fear into the hearts of Gotham's criminals, that's for sure. I think he could get a rise out of someone like batman. That abd him with night wing? Whole new meaning to the term "swinging bachelors!"

On characters going off the deep end, at least bishop has a cool look in my opinion. His new portrayal is kinda so so but he def looked cool

I think the whole missing Kurt thing has affected a lot of our fics... plus bitterness and whatnot about Kurt's death, and his lackluster characterization leading up to it... then the death of Darkholme and Kidcrawler... Ah, too many painful memories! Let's move on, shall we?
