And here is an older (AU) Kurt proving how good he is at lecturing.

Omigosh! Why does Kurt look so awesome fighting in a suit? It's just a suit, but... damn. Lol. At first I thought Hank joined X-Force. But I love how fierce Kurt is about Besty. How much Burtsy is in that issue? I have a few of that series, hmm, maybe I have it. What issue is it ?
It looks like Kurt may be advised by Logan (I think they work together in that universe) because it reminds me a lot of those early days and what Logan would lecture Kurt on not taking battle seriously enough and how it wasnt the circus.
@Marg, I dont have all of 'Pixie Strikes Back' I'm not sure I have the issue you are referring to? Marlena Dietrich? You mean Pixies mother?

I mean, the striped boatneck isn't such a bad style option on its own--it is the signature shirt of Jean Paul Gaultier. Except that with Kurt's shaved head and the shorts... He's starting to look like Jean Paul Gaultier himself, which, you know, probably isn't a look you should try to copy unless you actually design fabulous French haute couture ;)
I feel like the Kurt in a suit thing has something to do with it producing some sort of combination of the usual and the unusual that makes him seem both sexier and more real (or something--that's my not-well-articulated theory, anyway). I think the issue I posted was #3 of New Excalibur; I don't remember a huge amount of Burtsy, but I'll take another look through it later and see what I can find :)
And that other issue I was talking about was Ming Doyle's little Nightcrawler story from Girl Comics (though I can see the Pixie's mom comparison, lol). The only pic from it I could find online is from Ming Doyle's Livejournal. Pretty much all I remember is that it's set at a German cabaret.

Advance Pages of Wolverine & The X-Men!
The Bamfs are harassing and drinking booze in front of Iron Man.
Beast appears to have Broo as a new lab assistant.
And I love how the bamfs are just hanging onto Kitty and sticking their tongues out at Bobby. They know he's not good enough for her!
Yep he does. LOVE to see him drawn in casual clothes.
Actually the scene following that is of Logan telling Kurt he is too hard on TJ.
In that reality, Kurt leads the X-Men, and Logan has taken the place of Professor X, running the school. Logan is also at least partially paralysed and wears an "exo-skeleton" to help him move. Kate (Kitty) is the other senior X-Men member. That Kurt is married to the Scarlet Witch, though they apparently live apart and it is implied fairly heavily that he raised TJ on his own. I haven't followed everything about TJ, but I can't recall her mentioning her mother in anything but passing, to say who she was.
The brief glimpse of that Kurt's personality seems to be that he is like he was towards the end of the Excalibur run.
Odd. Seeing Logan tell someone ELSE they are being too hard on someone. Im thinking of Armor right now, lol ("go and die"). I dont remember Kurt being particularly hard on people in the end of Excalibur despite the sword and buzzcut. Oh well. I guess single parenting gets to you. You have to play father and mother and cant be "goodguy", mostly "badguy." Its an interesting contrast in that AU. I wonder if Kurt was more like Logan and Logan more like Kurt.
I thought Talia mentioned they were so in love and like bunnies (Kurt and Wanda). She must have died.

She's alive, at least in that little two issue flashback, because Avengers are on the news and he looks at the TV and says "go get 'em Liebchen".
I've only read Exiles haphazardly, and then read some of her appearances in Excalibur vol 2. What I said comes in part from this: "T.J. grew up around the X-Men and under her father's care, while her mother remains a member of the Avengers." and in part on the fact that it was mainly her relationship with her father she talked about, going so far as to search him out in pretty much every dimension they landed in, at least according to what one of the other Exiles said(or accused her of, if memory serves). I'm guessing Kurt was the stay-at-home-dad, while Wanda probably travelled the world kicking butt. That kind of suits him.
I didn't catch the bunny comment, but again, I only read the series here and there. I only ever saw TJ mention SW in passing, to state who her mum was.
I think TJ's Kurt has a grand total of 5 appearances, if you count the little panel in X-Men: The End.
Thanks for the info. I only have the first few issues from a long time ago. I dont remember everything myself.
I could see Kurt as a Stay at home dad, actually.

Ran across a Dave Cockrum Tribute Book in my comic store today. Kurts on the cover but the book is full of illustrations on Kurt, Ro, and Piotr done by a bunch of well known pencilers and other drawings from Cockrum. Lots of Kurt images I've never seen. Worth a flip through!
Always had a thing for blue.
Here's something that I just ran across on Deviant Art and can't recall ever seeing posted here. Some of you may have seen Crow 821's Logurt Comic (if not, let me know and I can post links to that also) but now there's a Logurt Comic 2.
Only links, since it takes up quite a bit of space.
BTW, the song Kurt is singing on the first page is a real German drinking song.
