Because I love Excalibur, Alan Davis and scientifical speechs about mutant power :)
The N-men, I miss this team (again). And Feron. And the Kurt and Peter Wisdom's relationship (the snark is good, I love snarky Kurt, more than any other character, maybe because it's not very... nasty with Kurt ?)
(I want someone who says to Kurt "well... at least, Xavier has like excuse the "x-gene" thing... you... And this costume...Are you an narcissitic man ? ")
You and me both! That issue in particular was great.
Kurt and Pete Wisdom were perfect to play off of one another; I really hated to see Pete fall by the wayside. And yes, snarky Kurt is cute. He's just so diplomatic about it. (At least the urban dictionary definition: diplomat - Someone who can tell another person to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.)
I remember thinking at the time what an ego-fest the "N-Men" were. It was beautiful. :P

I loved that "scientific investigation" of Kurt's powers too--finally, some "official" acknowledgement that he has a million super-powers he never uses (except when he's self-consciously showing off, apparently LOL).
My favourite N-Men thing was Kurt's "mascot" monologue--that broke my heart the first time I read it (oh God--was I thinking about him that way, too???). But then of course he solves it for himself by drafting his own superhero team in his image. Over-compensation much? :P

This isn’t related to anything we’ve been talking about (except inasmuch as we’re always talking about sex), but I had a question. That whole Kurt/Rogue switching powers/bodies in X-Men Forever never went anywhere, right? You know--despite the total innuendo of him constantly telling her how hot she was and the fact that he couldn't touch anyone except her...

Not that I want Kurt to hook up with another one of his (kind-of) sisters (or Rogue in particular) but… What is it with Kurt and girl versions of himself? (Meg, Kymri, etc.) I mean, don't get me wrong--If I was Kurt I'd probably want to have sex with myself, too. But... seriously... Is that writing trend intentional, or just random?
It's a form of vanity.
Happens to a lot of people in the real world too. Ever compare Tom Cruise and his wife? They have the same face it's down right creeptastic.
Same brow arches
Same down turned eyes
Same jawlines
Same down turned smiles
Same tilt in the ears
Same chins
Same blunt noses
Even their hair color is the same...
Always had a thing for blue.
