Yes, as someone already pointed out: Wolverine Origins #46 (bro hug!), Wolverine: Weapon X #11 and Wolverine: Weapon X #9 (although he didn't interact with Logan in the last one).
He also showed up in Wolverine: Manifest Destiny #1 and 3 - in the latter, he busted Logan out of prison!
Wolverine #6 is not recent, but it is a gem. I just wouldn't describe it as "fun", exactly, except for the legendary cover. Kind of a must-read, though, for those interested in the two.
Ooooo, I can't believe I forgot the pure crack that was Marvel Comics Presents #101-108! Have a summary!
Edit: Also, I'm not sure why I said the two Logurt scans I posted on the previous page were from Uncanny X-men #161. I think I was a little too tired. Scrap that. It's from another issue, I'm just not sure which.

"I think you all look at least as splendid as I!" ~ Nightcrawler
Was just thinking about "Manifest Destiny - Nightcrawler" and Mephisto's insinuations about how Kurt would die. Quoting from uncannyxmen.net: "To show you exactly how you are going to end up. Feared. Hated. And alone." Later... "Well, don't feel too proud. That's a deadly sin you know."
These bits could easily be general "mutants are hated feared!!" comments on death, but given the current climate, maybe they're predicting a bit more.
I don't know how you all feel about Nighty's involvement with magical realms, personally, I could do without it. But I do think, if something happens to him, magic will play a part in it or in his future. Hmm.

I don't know about that. Everything I've read about the death - solicits, interviews, etc, states that it's a beloved X-man who dies, and that it will cause quite a stir.
I hate Kurt's involvement in magic. He's not a magic user - period - and I don't want him to be. It's not what he's about.I don't know how you all feel about Nighty's involvement with magical realms, personally, I could do without it. But I do think, if something happens to him, magic will play a part in it or in his future. Hmm.
I could see magic play a part in his resurrection, though - assuming he does die. And is resurrected somewhere down the line.

Same. I like the irony of him looking like he'd fit the part, yet actually having no involvement with magic. Even though that isn't really the case anymore these days.
In general I'd like the X-men to stay away from magic. Always thought they should stick to science-fiction instead of fantasy, but it's a thin line.
Hmm, maybe I wasn't being clear. I only meant that what Mephisto said could have been an indication that we may lose 'Crawler. He could be using both scare tactics and actual precognition. But it's just a thought.
Also, I agree with both of you. I always end up thinking, though, about that one story where it turned out Belasco was a twisted version of Nightcrawler. Always wondered if they would pick that up again someday. I think it's pretty interesting, and I'd like to see how it goes - just that if Kurt's gonna be involved with magic/the supernatural at any level, I'd rather it take place in an alternate universe than 616.

Let's fire this baby up again.
Anyway, am I alone in my total hatred of Nightcrawler's thrid toe? It grosses me the hell out. I so prefer when artists just give him an accentuated heel.

And since few seem to remember Nightcrawler's crossover with The Saga of Crystar, I shall now post about it. Spoiler warnings for a 27 year old comic?
Wikipedia for background on the series: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Saga_of_Crystar
Nightcrawler appears in the 6th issue, and is introduced through a 3 page Danger Room session. Other X-men are nowhere to be seen. Next page he's on a date with Amanda, all suited up and charming as usual.
Amanda reports there's lots of "transdimensional magic" on the loose in her apartment, and warns Kurt not to teleport. Which he doesn't hear since at the same moment, he's bamfing to the kitchen to get water. This, of course, makes him end up in the world of Crystar. Nightcrawler is subsequently mistaken for a "chaos demon" by a dude on a dragon, so Kurt decides it would be a better idea to keep low profile. And change out of the tux. Apparently he wore his other outfit under there.
Meanwhile, main Crystar plot development which I'm skipping. In any case, the royalty there (the goodies) get report that a demon is loose in town, and prince Crystar decides it must be the doing of his evil twin. Kurt is still porting around to prevent getting seen, and ends up in the evil guys' liar. They welcome him with open arms, since they believe he's a demon sent to help their cause. Kurt's a bit confused, but goes along with it. This may have to do with the red, naked devil lady clinging to his arm. (love the panel with him on the throne, looks very pimp)
One of the good guys, Ika, is spying on the whole scene, but gets caught. Meanwhile, the prince and his team have found Nightcawler's tuxedo, and moving on they find Ika's gear she lost when she got captured. They're closing in to the liar, where the evil team starts torture on Ika, to which Kurt objects. The baddies figure he's not a chaos demon after all. Then Crystar & co barge in, a fight starts, Kurt saves the day by porting around.
Nightcrawler finally mentions he's from Earth, and Ika offers to send him back - and offers something more too.
Thus ends the issue:

Thanks for the scans, Koni, those are great. Kurt looks good in a tux, lol.
And I was going to say: Wow, the person who wrote this knows how to spell 'Liebchen'. Until I read the last page, and noticed a mysterious 'i' had crept in there. It's not that hard to spell people! So far I've seen 'Leibchen' (this one is particularly funny), 'Leibchin', 'Liebschen', and a multitude of other spellings.
Sorry, that'll be the end of my rant now.
A question: a little related to the creepy toe thing, does anyone else get kind of creeped out when Kurt is drawn in a photorealistic way? Not so much his face, but his hands in particular. Case in point:
2 fingers...ew...
(Sorry Kurt, I love you really).
I don't have much of a problem with the hands. I did some photomanips a while back of Nocturne and even then the hands didn't bother me. The feet. That toe. Ew.
PS on the above scans, whatever Kurt did with that Ika chick is nothing compared to NOT TELLING HIM YOU'RE HIS SISTER.
