Default G. Willow Wilson talks "Air"

The writer of Vertigo's hugely acclaimed "Cairo," G. Willow Wilson talks to CBR News about her new M.K. Perker-illustrated project, "Air," an ongoing series about a flight attendant aboard a hijacked plane heading to a country that doesn't exist.

I'd say that article was too short. I would've liked more of an interview.

I haven't read Cairo, but I read the Air preview and pre-ordered the first issue. The art looks good, the dialogue seemed right, and the plot points that have been revealed seem interesting.

I'll give any writer a second shot, as I think we need more distinctive voices.

And I can see where her middle-eastern descent and western upbringing makes for a great bio...but I was a little underwhelmed with Cairo.

I know it won all kinds of awards, but did anyone else feel the same?

I'm not saying it was BAD. It just wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Cairo and her Outsiders one-shot were both great.

I'm looking forward to this book.
