Little bit of context here; the guy had tried to kill Ali several times earlier, had only slightly more success than Wile E. Coyote, and suffered approximately the same amount of pain. For most of the issue he was pretty much a joke.

Finally he managed to get lucky and capture her. I guess it was either the bag over her head or a blindfold (not that either one would've helped, since she used eye blasts to make holes to see through as shown here). She could tell that the guy was mentally ill instead of totally evil, and she managed to calm him down and get his anger to melt away before he did anything to her.

The happiness she's feeling isn't just because she ended up "curing" him, but because she's thinking about how she can use her powers in the same way to help other people.

His "pain" was simply how inept he was at killing an unaware target. I don't think it quite equates to getting hit by a baton in the side of the face from some guy driving by on the beach riding a motorcycle, which is how he captured Ali in the first place. And let's not forgot he followed this up by undressing her (changing her from her evening gown into her old disco costume). Who even knew WHAT he did or could have done to her while she was unconscious.

The only time she hurt him was when she was trying to escape from him after being bound. Regardless if he was mentally ill or evil, I can't imagine a woman (without years of therapy) being THANKFUL that she found her calling by being kidnapped and nearly murdered/raped/whatever.

I'm surprised no one has posted a pic of Revanche getting offed by Matsuo. Why she couldn't do it herself, since she was an assassin trained in ancient Japanese arts and would thus conceivably be able to commit suicide by one of many ritualistic methods, is beyond me, but hey ...

On a second note, maybe it's the women's fault. Day in and day out they decided to be surrounded by super-heroes, and a good number of the referenced women have been supers themselves. If you're going to take the risk of being beaten down you need to be properly trained. For example....

Emma Frost is a terrible X-Woman. She get's knocked out battle after battle, but she supposedly has a diamond hard form where she's impervious? Bull. She needs better training and better combat skills or she needs to quit the team. I am tired of having her bitch slap people in her diamond form and calling that skill. She has a flaw and her uneducated fighting style leaves that flaw wide open. Then there's her flank, which she clearly has no control over or sense of.

Women should be accountable for their own beatings, esspecially when there's a huge gym, olymplic pool, great mentors and the best training facility ever a their disposal.

H2H is beneath Emma. She's a superior being who doesn't need to get her hands dirty to get the jobe done!

On a serious note, why don't you give me an answer when she was knocked out in a fight?
