EDIT: As for the fulfillment after being terrorized thing, Ali never lost her cool when the guy was threatening her so it's not as though she went through something traumatic for her. (She hadn't regained her memories of her past life with the X-Men yet, but I guess she retained her ability to avoid going all to pieces in the face of danger.) She had no reason to hate the guy or want revenge on him, although I think she did get a small measure of it when she blasted him. He was just a pitiful creature, and sometimes people ARE able to forgive those who want to hurt them.

You are misguided. Lots of men are pitiful, and their victims can keep their cool (Sage is very Stoic about attacks on her), but that doesn't make the attacks any less traumatic. Stop being a CC apologist.
