    This series is leaps and bounds above Countdown, but I'm still waiting for it to really hook in. Busiek's put a lot of pieces in play though, and there's at least the sense there's a movement and structure underlying.

    From the end of the Silver Age Green Lantern series, circa #198. Whiteout, the ghostly looking guy, Blindside, the one with the blinders, and Throttle.

    Blindside and Throttle were involved in a storyline prior to issue #198. In #198 they're working with Sonar. They end up bumping into Dr. Polaris and his stooges, and Whiteout is one of that group.
