Hey guys,
Been reading Secret Avengers since 21.1 and loving it so have decided to try the other Avengers titles, will get Avengers from the point one they have soon 23.1? perhaps but where do i start with New Avengers and Avengers Academy?
Ive purchased Disassembled abd Secret War to read too but where in New Avengers and Avengers Academy is last/next hop on point?
For old school epic Avenger titles, I can't recommend Kang Dynasty by Busiek highly enough. It rocks your red hot chili pepper socks off.
Has Roger Stern's Hulk run ever been collected?
I'd just like everyone to know that not only am I dropping Marvel, I'm dropping this forum considering I'm not even allowed to voice a negative opinion because a thread "isn't about me".
Any good Captain America stories set during WW2?
I suggest reading these to catch up on the Avengers. I've included a mix of stuff that's important (i.e. events) and stuff that's actually good (e.g. Avengers: The Initiative). I've included a line break at each event.

Not sure where you live, but you may also want to check out your local library.
The ones in my area have large comic/gn selections.
To add to that, the Avengers Academy FI tie in is really good too and does not require you to really read the main book.
Avengers Academy isn't so important to catching up but it is a really good series. And features Quicksilver, Pym, Tigra and now Hawkeye (now) working out of the west coast avengers compound training young heroes.

Another great way to "catch up" is a Marvel digital Unlimited Subscription. A HUGE archive of Avengers and others, i think its like 50-60 bucks a year. And has stuff as recent as a year ago. (sometimes more recent)

I've found that libraries are great for taking naps, especially when you're between "house" or kicked out of your current arrangement.

Am I the only one who enjoyed it? I didn't see it so much as an event, as opposed to just a Thor and the Avengers storyline. It makes it read far more enjoyable than what a lot of jaded people have been complaining about, and I say this as a avid Fraction-basher. In fact, I've enjoyed it so much, I've began to pick up The Mighty Thor and re-picking up Invincible Iron Man. I also enjoyed some of the side stories, like what they had in New Mutants and the Uncanny X-Men issues (which has become so much better since fraction left, imo)
There are four stages of matter. Solid. Liquid. Gas & Don't. It's science.
I am a male. Deal with it.
