This is a week with Millar/Hitch doing what looks like an awesome Doom story and Final Crisis 2 rolling out, not to mention FOUR major SI tie-ins which I'm buying...

...and yet absolutely everything totally pales in comparison to the sheer awesomeness that will be Thunderbolts #121. It's almost sad that the first time it FINALLY arrives on a monthly schedule in a year is to be the final issue.

The Avengers Initiative makes me wonder how long Hank has been a Skrull.

Yeah I just saw that. Also noticed that all three Avenger titles are getting released next week.

Wow, big week. Looks like we're finally getting into the meat of the Skrull infiltration subplots. Hank, Jessica, and so on.

Although, man, Wasp fans are gonna be peeved.

The Mighty Avengers preview is awful. Has Bendis actually read any comics with Hank and Jan that weren't by Mark Millar or Chuck Austen?

    Sheesh...

This is a little after Avengers dissasemble where Janet and Pym got back together but then some time after they where seperated again.

Oym has never been the worlds best boyfriend anyway.

Considering Mark Millar's never really written a comic with Hank and Jan in them (The Ultimates are different characters) except for glorified cameos in Civil War and the likes (Where, incidentally, they were fine), I don't see why we can really blame him for this. Still, I take the point that Bendis simply cannot write Hank Pym to save his life.

I take your point that the Ultimates are different characters MR. I just have a bit of a soft spot for the MU Hank and I don't feel that Bendis captures his 'voice' at all.

Pham's art looks very JRJRish in that Mighty Avengers preview.

Fantastic Four looks good ("Grimm, you imbecile!"). Also, the "villain drill every Saturday morning."

Reimagining the Young Avengers as a bunch of snobby British kids is quite hilarious, too.
