Sounds exciting! Wonder what role Catwoman will play in this story.

Hush has never really exactly been a favorite (character and story), but reading this, I think I'll still check this out. I may have my arms folded, going "okay, convince me" all the while, but I'll be there all the same.

Who knows, giving this one some life finally may be the greatest test of Dini's talent.

I love Dini's Detective!!!! I think I'm gonna love this story. Every time I read his stories I say "Now, that's a Batman story"

This is actually a good idea. People tend to forget that the Hush charcter wasn't as fully fleshed out as they think in Loeb's original; we got a lot of background on Bruce/Tommy Elliot as kids, but' less on what he was about as Hush.

If Dini can somehow make a silkpurse out of the sows ear that was Lieberman's run than he may become one of the great Batwriters.

I do think there is a lot of potential to be had in Hush mostly because his reason for hating Batman makes very little sense.
But there is something mysterious about all of that which makes me wonder if Hush was actually telling the truth about everything.

Jokers origin wasn't told or delved into for a long time and even know the specifics gets changed often since Joker is the one telling the story.

It's a shame that by the sounds of it this isn't going to retcon out all the Gotham Knights stuff. Even the title of the story hints at a direct link

Somebody thinks Hush was ever a fleshed-out character?

I'd like to sell that person a bridge.

It's not necessary to retcon the Gotham Knights stuff. Just ignore it if you didn't like that run.

I'm really looking forward to this.

With how disappointed I've been in Morrison's big RIP story so far (sorry Grant but the melo-dramatic introspectives just aren't cuttin' it for me) I'm really hoping for a good Bat story.

Dini's work on Detective Comics has been wonderful, he's the only write I know anymore who seems to writer a consistant Batman who's moods, attitudes and choices don't flactuate wildly between storylines.
