Joe Casey is so dreamy.
The delays and the too-long Neela subplot turned me off Godland so now I'm picking it up by the trade, but I still consider myself a fan.
For whatever reason, my store didn't have any copies of Charlatan Ball so I may have to pick that up by the trade unless I ask them to specially order it for me.
And Nixon's Pals is on my Amazon wishlist. I'd like to see Casey tackle a DC title but there seems to be no love lost there, plus his creator-owned work is much better.
So it's still around? Very Cool.
I love this series, but hadn't seen any solicits in ages, so I thought it had gotten cancelled. *whew*.
I don't buy many new comics these days, mostly just back issues and collections, but Godland was one of those new series I loved from the start (and even had a letter printed in one of the early issues).
And big congratulations on the Eisner nod!
Will be checking back soon.
