The point is, all we see is her standing there, we don't find out her final fate.

I don't think she would become like her manga self if she's alive considering that she was able to figure things out before her need for vengeance took her over and gave more control to her Diclonius instinct. Not to mention her manga self since the beginning was portrayed as a much darker and psychotic individual since she was a kid even when she wasn't under the voice's influence.

I actually think Anime Lucy would seriously go WTF is she ever met Manga Lucy.

The bolded sentence in the quoted post made me imagine the following...

Kouta opens the door and sees Lucy standing there.
    Kouta: Lu--
Lucy (Interrupting him): It's Morphin' Time! *holds up a Power Rangers Morpher... with the hand still attached*
Lucy: DICLONIUS! *transforms into Devil Horns Manga-Lucy while the Power Rangers theme plays in the background*
Kouta: Argh, this is the fourth crossover fic this week!
*Lucy proceeds to use her Zord, the Diclozord to wipe out humanity... except Kouta*

It's pretty sad that I so strongly associate the word 'morph' with Power Rangers.

My online status is set to Invisible. Makes me feel mysterious and unpredictable.

This is the very first time I've won the internet. Probably the last, too... since I think I used up my lifetime supply of cleverness on that little EL-PR crossover joke.

Sure, I don't mind being sigged.

Hrm, not quite as good as his Higurashi fandub work... but definitely pretty funny.

My favorite part was Lucy rocking back and forth saying "That was way too close."

One of my favorites lines was: "Code Red! Code Ren! All men report to battle stations! Where you will be nauseously murdered by a naked woman in a bicycle helmet! This is not a drill! Repeat, this is not a drill! You'regonnadie."

Lucy: Damn straight. (kills random guard)

    Guard:"Wargh!"(dies)

    And possibly my favorite:

Kouta: Oh, can we keep her Yuka? Can we? Can we please?

Yuka: Not until you have your vasectomy(sp?).

Lucy not Sue. Her existence is miserable with some bright clearings here and there and acceptance found in the end.

I like that despite how dark the manga is, the number of characters that make it in the end is surprisingly high for a story where people erupt in blood fountains in the blink of a second.
