Meltzar can't write comics, where there are only so many pages worth of word balloons and narrative boxes to get across the point. I did read one of his legal thriller novels, and even though there were some mind-numblingly ridiculous plot twists, it was a real page-turner. I couldn't wait to read what happened next, even when it turned out to absurd.
