    Thumbs up

Im pumped about this. Randall Flagg is a great villain, and with Stephen Kings Universe, everything is connected. Im about to reread the new version of The Stand, next week.

I can't believe people keep re-doing this same tripe by King and no one does "Swan Song" by Robert McCammon!
Flagg was cool and I liked Trashcan Man, but really it's just a pale shadow to "Swan Song".

This is fine. I am looking forward to reading it - however will this be updated for 2008? The Unexpurgated Edition of 1990 was updated with current pop-culture (like Madonna) references which I didn't really agree with at the time. Could be because it seemed so sloppily done. Many out of date references like new Datsuns remained.

And if any book of Kings deserves more stories, it's The Stand. I hope they don't stop at a 30 issue adaptation.

And by the way in the article there is a mistake. King's agent is Chuck Verrill NOT Zerrill.

EDIT: I just realized that was Ralph Macchio speaking. Doesn't make sense he wouldn't know the last name of King's agent. Maybe a CBR mistake in transcribing?

Heh...this could be the start of the Stephen King/Randall Flagg crossovers.

I love the Stand, it's my all time favorite Stephen King story and my favorite tv movie/mini-series based on one of his novels. I can't wait to pick this up.

I'll be picking this up. The Stand and It are my favorites. The It TV movie was great up until the end.

They should adapt a proper Spider-man story.

Kings books read quite fast, so even though its big, its goes by quick, I read Wizard and Glass- a (680pg book) in about a week. I thought it would take a month when i purchased that behemoth.

If you can find it, I actually prefer the original, edited version of the novel. Less bloat, better pace, etc.

I belive they said it was going to be broken up and grouped into six five issue or five six issue mini series so 30 issue total. Something like that anyway.

If it's anything like Dark Tower, good for Mike Perkins, he gets to sell some comics!
The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!

Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!

In other words, what StoneGold said.
